This evening was the third time I have been to Jonathan's and it did not disappoint! We were celebrating my partner's 70th birthday, which is not until tomorrow but I have to work so we came today. The entire atmosphere was totally relaxing and the gardens with lights was even lovely in winter! We were given the bread with the fabulous blueberry butter! I wanted to take what butter we didn't finish and our amazing server Alexis had foreseen my love for the butter and had some put by already for me to take home! What an absolute gem she was! We had those delicious stuffed mushrooms and mussels for starters...both truly the best starters we've had! Perfectly cooked and the mussels honestly the best ever! I had the salmon...cooked to perfection and my partner had the scallops that were a knockout! The mashed potatoes could have been a meal on their own! We shared the chocolate mousse...wow! Decadent! Rounded out our fabulous meal with a cognac and Bayley's coffee. I have to say...our dining experience at Jonathan's could not have been topped...except it actually was because our server Alexis took our wonderful dinner/birthday celebration above and beyond because of her attentiveness to us, her perfect timing checking in with us and just being an amazing young lady who helped make this evening a truly memorable one with her attention to detail and adding that wonderful human touch to our evening. Thank you with all our hearts Alexis and Jonathan's for helping me make a wonderful man's birthday celebration perfect! ❤️
