We chose this restaurant based on reviews and menu options. The restaurant is the old family home of the owner and there are multiple dining areas and a bar (which is separate from the dining rooms) all decorated nicely, keeping with the style of the old home. It's lovely. We were seated in a room with glass doors and a garden view. Our server was helpful, friendly and our food hot and delicious. We started with the mussels which were tender; cooked in a broth to die for. I wasn't sure of the blue cheese in the broth, but I didn't notice it at all -- in other words there was just enough to flavor the broth vs over powering it. We then enjoyed the salmon entrée which was cooked to perfection and not highly seasoned (we want to taste the fish, not salt, pepper or a heavy sauce). The owner has a garden where some of the vegetables etc., are grown organically--also a plus. For dessert we chose the organic wild blueberry crisp which was heated, and topped with ice cream. We couldn't stop talking about it. The meal was yummy from start to finish.
