I live in Cleveland and have been at Johnathan's on work trips. I chose OGT for summer vacation for my wife and I specifically so we could have our anniversary dinner at Johnathan's. We were in OGT 4 days and ate there twice. The atmosphere is laid back and charming. The cuisine is such that you would expect shirts and ties but the focus here is on comfort as much as quality. So dress ready to enjoy the food. That is the only requirement. The staff is fun and friendly and extremely hard working. The food is exceptional across the entire menu. There is a great music and comedy venue upstairs, and live music in the downstairs bar creating a score for your dining experience on the weekends. You're also sure to run into Johnathan as he is quite visible in the dining room greeting guests and making sure you are getting the best from him and the staff. Be sure to make reservations becasue this place is no secret for good reason.
