Excellent restaurant in Ogunquit. They are one of the few restaurants in the area that can cater to our big group (12 people). Apple crisp and chocolate mousse is to die for. However, the prices are quite expensive and have gone up since the last time I had visited a couple years ago.

We stopped in to take advantage of the " buck a shuck " deal that they do in the evenings. Raw oysters are $1 each. Heck of a deal!!! Oysters were good and the cocktails were excellent. We did not stay for dinner so cannot advise on that. Building is beautiful and the dining rooms are so comfortable and welcoming. Gentleman that I think is the owner gave us a tour of sorts and showed us the huge fish tanks in the back. Swarming with beautiful fish. He showed us one in particular ( below ) that he did not the type of. I believe it is called a Midas.

Great place! I was pleasantly surprised on my first experience here. I ventured in to catch a concert but ended up enjoying a terrific meal and very friendly and accommodating staff! I'll definitely return to catch another show....and a meal!

Celebrated my partners 64th birthday here. Was taken care of very nicely. Our waiter from Jamaica was new to waiting, he did a very nice job and was excellent with all his customers. All the food was excellent with one exception. I had the Maine Seafood Pasta, the flavor and presentation was wonderful but my lobster and shrimp where tough and hard to eat. I think my meal was under a heat lamp a little longer than usual since other parties that had the same meal looked so wonderful. For a meal that cost almost 50 dollars it was disappointing. Again I think it was not the norm. Our guest check was $319 including the $60 gratuity we left. This was our first time here. Over all a wonderful restaurant which we will go to again.

Superior service from everyone! The food was outstanding. Well worth the 1.5 hr. drive to get there.

The dinner before the Jonathan Edwards concert was delicious. Seafood chowder and baked haddock were perfect.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The server overhead us wish each other a happy anniversary and unexpectedly brought us both a glass of champagne on the house! They served us fresh baked rolls and sweet bread with blueberry butter. Both were very good, though my wife and I liked the sweet bread slightly better as we both have a sweet tooth.. My wife had the Ceasar salad, which was a very generous serving, and I had the lobster bisque, which had good sized pieces of lobster and was served with a biscotti. We were very happy with the quality. The entrees were out of this world. My wife had the stuffed haddock, while I had the salmon. Both came with silky smooth mashed potato and julienned vegetables. We tried a bite of each others meals, and though I don't usually care for anything with stuffing, the haddock was outstanding, and the salmon may be the best I've ever had. My wife doesn't usually like salmon, but even she was very impressed with it. For dessert, we shared an apple crisp and a blueberry crisp served with a scoop of ice cream. They were both delicious. Johnathan's boasts a garden on their grounds, a large fish tank, and (when we were there, at least) live music. Service and food are both top notch. Price is expensive, but for the quality and portions it is very fair and we'd go back in a heartbeat.
