We have had dinner here many times since the first year that Jonathan’s opened. I’m impressed that they, including our charming server Edith, handled the pre-theater crowd so efficiently. I had the homemade pasta with mushrooms, and had leftovers. My husband had fish and chips, my sister had seafood plus appetizers. The restaurant is especially convenient from the Meadowmere, just a short walk. We also enjoyed the Judy Collins show, and had assistance by Max when I booked the wrong time for dinner that night. Sunday afternoon after the play, my wife and I came to Jonathan‘s for dinner. We were seated promptly and Edith our server was extraordinary. She helped us with our selections and provided excellent service. We had mussels That were excellent. We had the Mediterranean pasta, which was outstanding. we had an excellent experience dining at Jonathan‘s. Again, kudos to Edith our server.

We were in town on a busy night and it was my birthday. I didn't want some loud, crowded, overpriced place where we had to fight to park. (Which is quite common in Ogunquit). I found this place. It was absolutely perfect. Got a reservation. Parked right out front. The restaurant is beautiful. With gorgeous lighting and gardens all over. Very relaxing, welcoming vibes. The staff was so sweet and even had a birthday card waiting for me at our table. We sat in a beautiful room overlooking a garden. The food was not only delicious, but the presentation was so artfully done. Gary, our server was attentive and friendly. The whole dining experience made for the perfect, relaxed birthday I needed.

Jonathan’s is an amazing restaurant! The food was great. When I made the reservation online there was a dropdown for occasions. I clicked on “Anniversary” and when we were seated the hostess left an anniversary card for us. The atmosphere is romantic- dim lights, nice views of the garden, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!
